Morning Glory Pool

I visited the upper geyser basin in Yellowstone National Park a couple of days ago and could not reach this pool. The snow in the basin was still too deep. The colors around the edges are created by bacteria that thrives in the hot water.

You must immerse yourself in your surroundings, the photos on this blog will be limited to THINGS YOU CAN'T SEE FROM THE ROAD.

I will be moving to our summer location today (05/09/08).
