The symbol of Arches National Park

Posted by Basstrax (Pensacola, United States) on 28 March 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Arches National Park is located just outside Moab, Utah. Delicate Arch seems to be the symbol of the park more than any other formation. You must get off the asphalt to really appreciate the arch. The trail to the arch is a 3 mile round trip with about a 900' elevation change on the way to the arch. (This hike is one of the most popular in the park, so expect lots of company along the way and at the top.)

You must immerse yourself in your surroundings, the photos on this blog will be limited to THINGS YOU CAN'T SEE FROM THE ROAD.

I will be moving to our summer location today (05/09/08).
