Desert Highways

Posted by Basstrax (Pensacola, United States) on 30 March 2008 in Animal & Insect.

Death Valley National Park in southern California is one of the driest locations in the United States, and yet many creatures thrive there. These are the tracks left behind by a small black beetle as he goes about his daily business. The sand dune area of the park is magnificent to walk through.

You must immerse yourself in your surroundings, the photos on this blog will be limited to THINGS YOU CAN'T SEE FROM THE ROAD.

I will be moving to our summer location today (05/09/08).
